Hi, my name is Eiki ("Achy") Yoshikawa.

I was born in Kyoto Japan in 1966. After I graduated from a Japanese university in 1991, I transferred to and graduated from The University of Texas at Austin majoring in Psychology in 1993. After living in the San Francisco bay area for 10 years, including 7 years with a leading high-tech company, I came back to Austin in January, 2004.

In 2005, I decided to study and took several courses of American Sign Language at Austin Community College, and at the same time I started my massage therapy training at The Lauterstein-Conway Massage School, where I completed 300 hours of training for the Texas license in 2005, and finished additional 250 hours of training in May, 2008. I have been practicing massage therapy and bodywork since February 2006.

I specialize Deep (Tissue), Swedish, Sports, and Clinical Bodywork.

The Session

All of your sessions with me will be tailored just for you, based on your preferences, needs, and hopes, as well as the pre-session assessment. Since everyone is different and even the same person can be different on different days, every time you come in, we will have a brief pre-session interview to find out your needs.

The session will be conducted utilizing various techniques and modalities. Some of the modalities and technieques used in your sessions are listed in the Modalities page.

The Studio

My studio is the backroom of a converted old house at West 31st Street & North Lamar. A safe, professional yet personal, and non-sexual atmosphere is presented for your relaxation.
